By doing this, we’re making cold plunging more accessible to the regular person, by bridging the gap between low-quality inflatable models that aren’t worth the money and prohibitively expensive premium options, with a perfectly balanced middleground that optimizes value per dollar. Our Story - How It All Began

As self-proclaimed bio-hacker, our founder has been cold plunging for almost a decade, along with other bio-hacks like sauna and red light therapy. After being restricted from public cold plunging during Covid and the cold showers just not cutting it, it became his purpose to find a better alternative than the blow-up plunges or prohibitively expensive premium models, to make his wellness routine realistically achievable. But after searching far and wide, he simply couldn’t find an option that checked all of the boxes without an obscene price tag… So he started prototyping his own!

Industry Expertise

 

Right away, he noticed that many of the most popular cold plunge tubs (being shipped from China) weren’t certified to North America safety codes, which was putting cold plunge enthusiasts at serious risk. So, he began looking into North American safety codes for specific cold plunge standards and quickly discovered that the codes hadn’t even caught up with the cold water immersion trend, and had nothing addressing cold plunges within them. After bringing this to the attention of a major standards association, he submitted the proposal that initiated the inclusion of cold plunges into North American safety standards and was asked to join the committee to help develop them.

Through this, our expertise in the field of cold water immersion goes beyond the typical business. This unique involvement with developing these standards means we have a deep understanding of what’s required to create an optimal cold plunge experience—both in terms of functionality and safety.
